Explore the Fest

With nearly 100 vendors and an around-the-world culinary experience featuring German, Italian, Asian and Latin food and culture, 2023 Gretna Fest spans 20 continuous blocks and has something for everyone!

Italian Village

Take a trip to our Italian Village, a patron favorite decorated in clotheslines and checkered tablecloths. Italian music is heard throughout the street while Fest guests enjoy various Italian foods, wine, and Italian cookies prepared by the St. Joseph Women’s Club.

Asian Village

Multiple vendors line the street of our Asian Village to offer authentic Asian foods, drinks, and more.

Margarita Village

Explore Margarita Village – a street dedicated to Latin culture, music, foods, and featured margaritas by El Gato Negro.

German Village

Sponsored by the German American Cultural Society, German Village features authentic German food and beer. Stop by for the Official Opening of the Oktoberfest Season on Friday, October 6 at 5pm! Hosted by Friends of the German-American Cultural Center, local celebrities, and elected officials, there will be free beer from the ceremonial keg. After, take a stroll through the village and enjoy brats and pretzels!

Gretna Fest Food Court

Our Food Court is sponsored by Gretna’s very own Zatarain’s! Here, we’ll have over 40 vendors offering a wide variety of foods from local restaurants, non-profits, and others.

Craft Beer Area

Local craft beer offerings by Port Orleans Brewing along with games and a lounge area.

The Club Backstage

An indoor venue open to Fest-goers located in the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts. Cool off and watch the weekend’s LSU and Saints games from a projector screen. The Club Backstage will host performances by local acts and a Gospel set on Sunday morning.

Craft Vendors

Craft vendors line both sides of City Hall along Huey P. Long Ave. We have nearly 50 craft vendors offering local homemade pieces, apparel, pictures, candles, and other items.
