History Of The Gretna Heritage Festival
In 1994, the city of Gretna wanted to develop a family festival where everyone could enjoy a weekend filled with music, food, rides and lots of excitement. So, the Gretna Heritage
Festival was born. Since its humble beginning over a decade ago, the Gretna Heritage Festival has grown into one of the biggest festivals in the greater New Orleans area, attracting
attendees from throughout the city, region and the country.
